Dating back to the 1950s, this Deja Vu Platinum .83ct Sapphire & Diamond Ring is a striking example of post-war Deco-inspired design, carrying forward the geometric elegance of the Art Deco period while embracing the era's love of solid, substantial platinum construction. The ring's five-stone arrangement creates a graduated, symmetrical composition that was a signature look of the period's cocktail and dress rings.
At the centre sits a rich, deep blue oval sapphire, its saturated colour flanked on either side by two old cut diamonds, their soft, warm brilliance a hallmark of pre-modern diamond cutting. Two further oval sapphires anchor each end of the design, echoing the central stone and giving the ring a balanced, rhythmic quality across the finger. Altogether, the sapphires total .83ct, their cut and rich tone contrasting beautifully against the crisp white brilliance of the old cut diamonds between them.
